Killer hot cycle

Imel, Sean and I decided to take part in the Hillbillies summer series event this afternoon.

Little did we know if was going to be about 42 Degrees Celsius, standing in the sun, with no shade and very little wind.

The ride ended up starting at about 14:00 and it was hot.

After the first lap, I wasn't sure I was going to be able to finish, the water in my camelbak was luke warm and breathing in the hot air was not super comfortable.

Well, I managed to stick it out and finish the three laps. Needless to say, I downed a good few glasses of ice cold water after getting home.
