Free roam at G3ECS
Tonight was free roam night, basically a do what you want as long as it is geeky, kind of night.
On the gaming front, we had a group playing Minecraft, another group playing Call of Duty and a few playing World of Warcraft.
On the programming front, there were a few geeks working on Code Academy.
On the hardware side, we had a major tear down session. A good few digital decoders were taken apart along with a few dot matrix printers and a toaster. Lots of fun was had by all and a good few usable parts were recovered from the otherwise throw away items.
It is great to see the group has maintained size this year and we have a few regular girl geeks attending as well.
Next week it's back to code.
