Orphanage on Bree Street was recommended to us by, Craig McLeod.
I was still feeling pretty much not awesome, with my sinuses and all so first thing I wanted to do when I got there was blow my nose. When you walk into their bathrooms and find Africolgy hand soap, you know this is going to be an interesting experience.
We started off with two cocktails while we waited for our food to arrive.
We had the Lamb Burger, Chicken Espetada, Crispy Calamari and a large portion of their truffle chips.
Each individual food item, felts like it was uniquely planned and executed with a specific sensation in mind. The food was really good. They truffle chips, well I think this is something I could become addicted to.
If you're looking for an interesting and tasty place to go and have a bite to eat in Cape Town, make sure to pop in at Orphanage on Bree.
