You know you're almost in Cape Town when you drive over Sir Lowry's Pass, even though it's still quite a bit of a drive until you're in the mother city, it just has a feeling to it.

We headed straight to [Asoka](http://www.asokabar.co.za/?ref=nathanjeffery.co) where we met up with Parveen and Britney.

From the moment you walk in the door you get the feeling this is a place to be. The door man, keeping a close eye on who enters and the overall atmosphere of the venue.

Amelia and I had, the Seared Tuna, Green Thai Curry and Lindt Brownie and it was all really good.

I can highly recommend you take the time to pop in and have a meal as Asoka.
